China’s State Intellectual Property Office has named 20 lawyers in private practice to its newly-released list of “National Intellectual Property Leading Individuals,” the first such list ever released by SIPO. The 81 total nominees were named voted by a special appraisal committee from the pool of candidates primarily recommended by the members of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Meeting for Implementation of the National Intellectual Property Strategy and the nation’s intellectual property offices at various levels.
