Overview

Dan Chen is a partner at Fairsky Law Office, where she leads the firm’s trademark practice. She has 29 years’ experience in counselling clients on China trademark, anti-unfair competition and copyright laws. She has helped many businesses in the fields of trademark registration, disputes, licensing and transfer, infringement investigation, administrative enforcement and civil litigation. Her clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups, benefit from her in-depth knowledge and responsive services in preventing risks and resolving disputes in IP fields, as well as in portfolio management.

After working successively at two giant IP firms in China and chairing the US liaison office for five years, she joined Fairsky in 2019 to implement her unique service model of higher interaction with clients and deeper participation in strategy making. Her multicultural background has helped her develop top-notch communication skills; she is recognized by her clients as exceptionally understanding, clear, creatively minded and trustworthy.

Currently, Ms. Chen is serving as General Secretary of Beijing Trademark Association, and a member of Non-Traditional Trademark Committee of INTA. She has been invited to speak at many international and regional conferences, workshops and panel discussions, and has been ranked in the WTR 1000 – The World's Leading Trademark Practitioners for over five consecutive years.
