Overview

Pankaj Soni has over two decades of experience and serves as the patent chair at Remfry & Sagar. 

He is widely recognized for his expertise in patent litigation strategy and is well-versed with the nuances of SEP litigation in India. He has provided extensive advisory support in the SEP/FRAND space, and is particularly adept at crafting winning approaches to claim construction, infringement and invalidity analysis. Soni has secured multiple successes before various High Courts in India for Fortune 500 clients and has also been involved in patent litigation before U.S. Federal Courts. His technical focus spans electronics and telecommunications, computer-related inventions, mechanical engineering, optics and medical devices. He has also led client negotiations on litigation settlements and cross-licensing agreements.

 A published author and frequent international speaker on intellectual property issues, Soni is admitted to practice in India, New York and New Jersey.
