Overview

Anthony W. Dee is the head of the intellectual property department of SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan (SyCipLaw) and a member of its litigation and arbitration department. He advises multinational corporations on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights in the Philippines.

Dee has extensive experience in trademark, patent and trade secret matters, including trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, infringement actions, anti-counterfeiting initiatives and intellectual property disputes. He has advised clients on enforcement strategies and worked closely with investigators and government authorities in securing search and seizure warrants, conducting raids and protecting intellectual property assets against counterfeiters and other infringers.

Drawing on his extensive litigation and arbitration experience, including major infrastructure, insolvency, property recovery and regulatory matters, Dee advises clients on complex intellectual property issues arising in commercial, regulatory and cross-border contexts.

Dee previously served as president of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines–Makati Chapter.
