Overview

Mr. Paik is a senior patent attorney at Kim & Chang. He
practices primarily in patent prosecution, licensing, litigation,
and strategy counselling on intellectual property.
With over 20 years of private practice in international and
domestic IP matters, Mr. Paik has developed practical
experience and expertise in a variety of IP issues and
practices, including strategic patent prosecution, patent
licensing tactics and patent monetization. He further advises
on prior art search techniques, freedom-to practice opinion,
and strategic IP management consulting for both public and
private sector. Prior to joining Kim & Chang, he was with the
Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) for 21 years.
