Overview
Prasantaya Bantadtan is a founding member and partner of LawPlus Ltd. She obtained an LL.M. in international economic law from the University of Warwick, an LL.M. in international business legal studies from the University of Exeter, and an LL.B. from Thammasat University. She is a registered patent attorney and a notarial services attorney.
Prasantaya specializes in laws on intellectual property, information technology, telecommunications, restructuring, insolvency, corporate, M&A and real estate. She has advised local and international clients on patent, design and trademark registration and enforcement, business reorganization, debt recovery, funds repatriation, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and disposal of distressed debts. She was named as a Thailand’s IP Expert by the Asia IP Magazine in 2021-2023. The Legal 500 Asia Pacific recommended her for intellectual property in 2021. The Asia Business Law Journal listed her in its A-List of the TOP 100 Lawyers for Thailand in 2019-2020.
Prasantaya is a member of the Lawyers Council of Thailand and the Thai Bar Association, a Director of the Intellectual Property Association of Thailand, a Councilor and Treasurer of the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association, and a member of the Conference Operation Committee of the APAA.
