Israel’s legal market is booming, along with its economy. In 2021, the country’s GDP grew at a remarkable 8.1 percent, buoyed by increases in consumer spending, investment activity and exports.

S. Horowitz & Co. celebrated its 100th anniversary last year. Tal Band is a top-tier IP litigator, and chair of the firm’s IP practice group. The S. Horowitz Institute for IP is part of the Faculty of Law at Tel Aviv University. It aims to advance IP law by supporting research and the study of the various issues that arise in the practice of intellectual property law. As part of its functions, the institute explores copyright, patents, trademarks and trade secrets, as well as neighbouring rights.
