Pedro José F. Bernardo Has Been Tasked With Supporting Kelvin Chia Partnership’s Office In Phnom Penh

Pedro José F. Bernardo, an onshore partner at Kelvin Chia Yangon, has also been tasked with supporting Kelvin Chia Partnership’s office in Phnom Penh. Bernardo, who has worked in the Myanmar market for more than six years, has extensive experience in emerging markets, particularly in investment structuring and financing, real estate and telecommunications. He will continue to be based in Yangon, but will share his expertise with the firm’s growing Cambodia client base.
“Cambodia has always been an important market for the firm, and while Myanmar has enjoyed tremendous growth over the last five years, Cambodia is now buzzing as a business destination,” said Thio Ying Ying, equity partner at Kelvin Chia Partnership.
Bernardo is dual-qualified in the Philippines and New York state, and is a registered foreign lawyer in Singapore.
