Yuanhe, Twelve Tables merge to create formidable IP firm

Kirk Xing, Hairuo Zhang to lead the merged firm.

Chinese law firms Yuanhe and Twelve Tables Law have merged to create a new firm called Yuanhe & Twelve Tables Law Firm. The combined firm will have more than 50 professionals in offices in Beijing and New York.

Yuanhe is an established, award-winning law firm which specializes in dispute resolution, intellectual property, capital market and American legal services. Over the years, Yuanhe has provided services to some of the world’s most innovative companies, earning their trust and representing them in domestic and international high-profile, high-stakes cases.

Twelve Tables Law is a boutique firm with a strong reputation in intellectual property and litigation. The firm has gained credibility in the legal market by handling cross-border and landmark IP litigations before major IP venues in China. Some cases that its attorneys have litigated have had a deep impact in China, setting new standards in IP law. Twelve Tables Law’s partners have been ranked among the Top 100 IP Experts in China by Asia IP.

The merger combines two strong law firms, similar in philosophy and with complementary practice strengths and goals. The merged firm’s chair will be Kirk Xing. Its managing partner will be Hairuo Zhang.
