Yuankai Lin named partner at RPC Premier

Yuankai Lin has been promoted to partner at RPC Premier Law, RPC’s joint law venture in Singapore, where he acts for clients in sectors such as technology, communications and media; retail; entertainment and sport; consumer life sciences and healthcare, and aviation.

Lin is an experienced dispute resolution lawyer, and frequently does his own advocacy in both litigation and arbitration matters. He has a very international practice having acted in disputes involving a wide range of jurisdictions including Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, China, Russia, South Korea, Bangladesh, India and the United States. He has acted for clients at all levels of the Singapore Courts as well as in arbitrations administered by the SIAC, ICC, KLRCA (now AIAC), LCIA and UNCITRAL Rules.

He has also been invited by various organizations to present on investigations and compliance matters in Singapore, Vietnam and South Korea.

He is an accredited mediator and has been on the Singapore Mediation Centre's Panel of Associate Mediators since 2014.  He has experience mediating disputes at the Supreme Court and State Courts of Singapore and, as counsel, frequently acts for clients in mediations as well. He is a member of the Singapore Mediation Centre’s Panel of Coaches, which is entrusted with the responsibility of training and mentoring the next generation of mediators in Singapore.

Lin joined RPC from Bird & Bird ATMD, along with Boey Swee Siang, who advises on commercial and employment disputes, construction, and professional negligence, and Navin Joseph Lobo, who specialises in regulatory compliance matters including anti-bribery, corruption, and corporate investigations.
