Winston & Strawn Has Named Adrian Yip As Partner

Winston & Strawn has named Adrian Yip as a Hong Kong-based partner, the firm announced recently. Yip’s litigation and arbitration practice concentrates on resolving diverse cross-border and intellectual property disputes throughout Asia, including trade secrets. His substantial corporate compliance experience includes sensitive internal investigations and high-profile regulatory or licensing inquiries, and he has counseled numerous US- and Asia-based companies on investment restructuring issues, joint venture formation, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement.

Yip will be joined by three new litigation associates at the firm, including Cliff Mok, who focuses on intellectual property, commercial and white-collar crime disputes. Winston & Strawn’s Hong Kong office opened in late 2008.

As the world market continues to rebound from last year’s downturn, we see Asia, and China particularly, continuing to play an increasingly important role in our firm’s expansion plans,” said Thomas Fitzgerald, Winston & Strawn’s managing partner.
