Chuanhong Long succeeds Hao Ma as president of CCPIT

Chuanhong Long has succeeded Hao Ma as president of CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office in Beijing. Ma retired and will continue his services to the firm as of counsel.

Long joined the firm in 1994 and is qualified as a patent attorney and attorney at law. He represents domestic and international clients in prosecution, licensing and litigation of patent, trademark and other intellectual property rights. He has been actively participating in the management of the firm as vice president since 2009.

Long was selected as one of the leading IPR experts by the State Intellectual Property Office (now known as CNIPA) in 2012 due to his outstanding professional performance. He also provides his services to the intellectual property community as vice president of the AIPPI Chinese Group and vice president of the FICPI China Section.

Long graduated from Tsinghua University in 1993 with a master’s degree in engineering. He also obtained a master’s degree in law from Peking University.
