Mark Chia promoted to senior associate at Dentons Rodyk

Mark Chia has been promoted to senior associate in the Dentons Rodyk intellectual property and technology group in Singapore. Chia’s areas of practice include the protection, enforcement and commercialization of intellectual property rights, advising on commercial transactions relating to information technology and advising on data protection and cybersecurity laws.
Chia graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Laws (Magna Cum Laude) in 2021. During his studies in Singapore Management University, he was placed on the Dean’s List in his third and fourth years and was also the recipient of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association Prize for Top Student in International Commercialization of Intellectual Property. He completed his practice training at Dentons Rodyk and was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor in 2022.
Chia was one of 11 lawyers promoted to senior associate at Dentons Rodyk in July. Other promotions included lawyers in the firm’s corporate, finance and dispute and resolution practices. Dentons has more than 12,500 professionals across 160 locations in more than 80 jurisdictions.
