Chiang Ling Li joins Tiang & Partners in Hong Kong

Tiang & Partners, an independent Hong Kong law firm which collaborates closely with PwC, has announced that Chiang Ling Li, a leading intellectual property lawyer in Hong Kong and Mainland China, has joined the firm to lead its IP practice.

Li has more than 25 years’ experience in the field of China IP and pharmaceutical law. As a market leading expert, Chiang advises clients on their litigation and transactions involving patents, trade secrets, copyright, unfair competition, 3-D marks and well-known marks. She also pursues criminal enforcement of IP infringement in China. She works closely with industry organizations lobbying for legal reform, including those concerning patent linkage and data exclusivity. Li has been appointed as an arbitrator by CIETAC, HKIAC, ADNDRC, and the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center. She joins from international law firm Jones Day. She brings a strong technical background to complement her deep experience advocating for clients in a variety of complex patents and trade secrets disputes and brand protection mandates involving multinational companies and Chinese companies in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
